I BET YA DIDN'T KNOW...
+ The only song I have ever karaoked is 'Baby Got Back' and I could still rock it today.
+ I was born in a castle. No, like a for real castle. It's in Asheville, NC. My parents were hippies early on, and well, that gives me a really interesting birth story and the ability to tell my husband I have some legit princess cred.
+ I believe if you treat others as you would like to be treated and are kind, the rest will fall into place. I believe in just always doing the right thing.
+ We have two fur-babies, Buddy and Bruno, and if you put a homeless animal in front of me, it will quickly change to three.
+ My travel dream is to go on a bicycle trip with my husband in Europe! And to visit every continent...except Antarctica. That place is too cold. Unless you promise me penguins, polar bears, and whales. In which case I will go.
+ I think giving back is really important and I have some great plans in store for doing just that with my business!
+ I always have a minimum of two candles burning in my house.
+ If I could go to the beach every day, I would. It's my place of peace.
+ I possess an MFA in Interior Design (my other love). It's from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA where I am from. Go Rams! (How 'bout that basketball team!?!!).
+ My hubby and I had a destination wedding and were married in St. John, USVI (the best place on earth!). It was perfect. We had 19 people present, plus 2 photographers from Denver. Need I say more as to how much I love photography (and destination weddings!)?
+ I really, really love: spring, dark chocolate, cups of hot green tea (like 3 a day), 'lefty' over 'righty', anything that gets me out of doing laundry, dancing, email to text, yoga to Pilates, cupcakes to any other dessert, seafood to...anything else.

When I searched for our wedding photographer, I cried at other people's wedding slideshows countless times. The images of perfect strangers sharing in such an emotional, important day with their friends and family and committing their lives to each other would reduce me to a tearful mess, because to me, nothing in this world is greater or more important than love. It's this same emotion, this magic, that I love capturing for couples. Meeting two people who are so in love, getting to know them as they plan the celebration of one of the most important days of their lives, and then being with them and artistically telling their story through images - it fills my heart. It leaves me speechless. It makes me incredibly inspired. Maybe it's the hopeless romantic in me, but it's a real life fairy tale come true right in front of my eyes every single time. I can't get enough of it and and I can't imagine anything better!
